Analyze Bpm Traktor Pro 2
Hey Guys,
I recently have been trying to add hip hop to my arsenal of genre's that I play. I've always usually loved and listened to a lot of hip hop and rap and such, and now I want to spin it as well.
The problem is my BPMs for hip hop are all over the place. I talked to DJ Streetfighta on here and he told me to re-analyze my BPM for my hip hop tracks and such separately from 60 bpm to 120 bpm. I was wondering what would be the most effective way to go about doing that?
I have also found a lot of my Dubstep tracks BPM have been displaying as if they are 70bpm instead of 140, I understand it's half time and all Dubstep is in 140 (or maybe it's vice versa I don't remember) anyway is there anyway for me to fix that as well?

Sep 25, 2010 The wave form is not long enough for traktor to detect the bpm. At least that what I found out in my case. If you have loops traktor should be able to analyze the bpm. One thing you could do but it's a manual process is enter the bpm for each loop. Most companies that make samples and loop disc will write down on the folder or on the file the bpm. Traktor is Native Instruments’ laptop DJ software, and Traktor Pro 3 is the current version. It’s one of the first digital DJ apps, launching back in 2000. It’s gone through several iterations since then, most of which were in step with DJ controllers that Native Instruments put out including the Traktor Kontrol S4, the jogwheel-less Traktor Kontrol S8 and the new Traktor Kontrol S4 Mk3 with Haptic Drive kinetic jogwheels.
There are also MIDI connectors such as the iRig MIDI, which hook up MIDI keyboards, drum machines, drum pads, pedal boards and more to an iOS device.
